California Attorney General Seeks to Jail “Tax Lady”

I posted earlier that the California Attorney General was seeking civil penalties against the “Tax Lady” Roni Deutch.  Things have gone from bad to worse for the “Tax Lady”.   Now the AG is seeking to have Deutch jailed for contempt of court for allegedly shredding up to 2.7 million documents and failing to pay back clients refunds of $435,000.   The AG is also seeking to seize Deutch’s assets and have the court appoint a receiver for her law firm.
